Scientific Name: Chlorocebus tantalus

The currently described range of this species is East of the Volta River system in Ghana to Sudan, Uganda and the Lake Turkana district in Kenya (Kavanagh, 1981; Campbell et al., 2008).

The majority of published articles about this species are biomedical in nature, primarily studies of virology (Hirsch & Lifson, 2000; Zahn et al., 2008; Goldschmidt et al., 2008).
